i have a 2005 s-type jaguar 3.0L engine last night the car would not come out of park the brake lights are working thinking that could be the problem now i have found that these s-type jaguar will have a hard time coming out of park at times what i did to get it out of park last night was i turn the key off than turn it one click and pull on the gear shfit slow til it came out of park and it has been working okay sent i pull codes and this is what i got po860,p1582,p1632

Hello and welcome to justanswer.comBased on your description I suspect a problem with the shifter especially since you have a code P0860. Next time the problem occurs we need to see if the P is illuminated on the shifter. The shifter has no serviceable parts so it will need to be replaced as an assembly.
