xj8: I opened the car door manually with the key..alarm..immobiliser

re Jaguar problem xj8. I opened the car door manually with the key, which activated the alarm, when I tried to start the car nothing happened, so I presume that I activated the immobiliser also, and I am looking for a solution to the problem

re-charged the car battery. I used the spare key also
