I bought a 2005 XK8 and assume it has Bluetooth. I went to the Jaguar care center and typed in the serial number and it came back with a set of instructions for pairing a cell phone. The problem is I cannot get the keypad to accept the command ##1#*# XXXXX selecting the phone mode. After selecting the phone mode the display states "No phone". Then when trying to enter the code the keypad stays in radio mode and just seeks stations. I cannot get the keypad to toggle over to the phone mode. How do I get the keypad to go to phone mode and state the "discover" status?

Hello and welcome back to justanswer.comYour vehicle was not fitted with bluetooth from the factory as it would need to be added. You would need a phone module, bluetooth module and microphone installed.
Experience: 12 years at a Jaguar dealer as technician and shop foreman.
DO you hav any idea what these modules would cost and if they are available from the dealer?
Yes I will look into this for you.
