Richard; The dealer is telling me that the front headlight indicator light that goes on when the headlights are on is controlled by the circuit board that is part of the instrument cluster. They say to get this working again, I would have to pay around $1,300 for a new cluster. Is that right in your estimation? Where can I go to get a new cluster at a reasonable price or get a used one that is working and would be good for my car.ThanksLouthanks

Hello and welcome back to justanswer.com
That is correct as that indicator is a bulb soldered to the printed circuit board so if in fact it is burnt out the cluster will need to be replaced. It is costly for a new part so I recommend jaguarparts.com, coventrywest.com, jagbits.com, jaguarpartscenter.com, motorcarsltd.com, britishparts.com, welshent.com, or jaggraveyard.com as they all specialize in discounted Jag parts. Also the security system may need to be reset by the dealer.
