If you still need help with this, please provide info on Alarm
Brand, Model Number, etc., as it likely is not Factory
My manual or info does not show "Factory Alarm" available for 1990There were some Dealer installed, but most were AftermarketIf it is a Horn sound, then it may be DealerIf it is Siren sound then it is Aftermarket
Lets check to see if there is an Alarm first:Ignition OnRoll down Driver WindowIgnition OffLock Doors with Door Panel Switch or Door KeyBe sure Hood, Trunk & all Doors are closed & lockedWait for apprx 2 minutesReach in thru Driver Window & "Manually" (not door panel switch) Unlock Door from insideOpen DoorDoes Horn, Siren or Lights flash??
When the Door is Unlocked with the Key, do they shut off??
>>however car will not turn over. <<
Do you mean engine will not "CRANK"?OREngine will not "RUN"??
If engine is cranking & does not run, then it does not sound like Alarm issueI also noticed you had a question with Richard. He suggested checking the Crank Sensor & Main Relay. That would be the first thing to do
