2003 JAGUAR X TYPE: BANK 1 SENSOR 2 HOW DO YOU

This answer was rated:

BANK 1 SENSOR 2 HOW DO YOU IDENTIFY THE SENSOR LOCATION ON A 2003 JAGUAR X TYPE 2.5 ?

Hello and welcome to justanswer.com

Bank 1 sensor 2 is the downstream sensor on the rear cat converter. The sensors are clipped to the bracket in the rear of the engine compartment. The one you are looking for is the black connector.

Customer: replied 6 years ago.

FIRST TIME USING THIS SYSTEM. WHAT I WAS TRYING TO FIND OUT WAS THE CORRECT MAPPING (LOCATIONS) OF O2'S AROUND ENGINE COMPARTMENT.

BECAUSE THE CURRENT CODE IN SYSTEMS READS BANK 2 NO SENSOR LOCATION JUST 1000pd

Click on the link. Bank 1 is the rear bank. Sensor 1 is the front or upstream sensor (gray connector) and sensor 2 is the rear or downstream sensor (black connector). This is the same for bank 2 which is the front bank.
