Hi, welcome to JA.

P1576 is accelerator position fault code. Typically it is a failed APP sensor. Some models had the APP on the Accelerator Pedal assembly, and others the sensor is on the throtle body, or internal to the throtle body. Use the procedure below to test the APP

There are 3 potentiometers in the sensor.

  1. APP 1 is a white wire and should measure 4.02 volts at idle and decrease as the pedal is depressed.
  2. APP 2 is a white/Red wire and should be 1.4 volts at idle and increase.
  3. APP 3 is a white/blue wire and should be 0.9 volts at idle and increase.

As for the poor heat concern, it is almost always a stuck Dual Control Valve (heater control valve) The valve defaults OPEN, so when disconnected all the hoses going to it should be warm. If not the valve is plugged or stuck.
