how do you reset the radio code for a jaguar x type 2003

Hello and welcome to

Is your vehicle a US model or UK model? Did it ask for a code because of a battery disconnection?

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
It is a US model and yes it was because of a battery disconnection

I will need your VIN number? Also do you know if the radio has ever been replaced?

Also hit eject and pty at the same time and give me that number.
Customer: replied 7 years ago.

The radio has never been replaced. The VIN number is XXXXX

When i do that.... the number is XXXXX 680 15

Thats exactly what I needed but I am having trouble logging to the Jaguar dealer site. It is down for server maintenance. I will keep trying but I may not be able to do this til Monday morning. If thats ok let me know.

I really would like to have this as soon as possible, but i guess if that´s what it takes i will wait..... but how would I get back in touch with you
I will reply when I have the info for you. You can just reply back like you have been doing. I will keep trying tonight but usually they do maintenance over the weekend. Maybe we'll get lucky.
