Customer Question

Hello, I am interested to know if a letter of offer (that accompanies an employment contract) is legally binding.
JA: Because laws vary from state to state, could you tell me what state is this in?
Customer: Ireland
JA: Have you talked to a lawyer yet?
Customer: Not yet
JA: Anything else you think the lawyer should know?
Customer: No

Background: employer is willing to let me work from home for 2 days per week, but will not add this to the place of work in the contract of employment. They are prepared to add a statement around this to the offer letter. Can they revoke that privilege later if it is not in the contract of employment.
Expert:  Ronan replied 3 months ago.

The statement can form part of the terms of the contract as a codicil depending on how it is phrased.
