1. There is no need to state the time of the offence on a Summons. As regards ***** ***** there is no need to actually state the date, although this is commonly done. There merely has to be sufficient facts to identify the offence and when it occurred. Essentially, there must be sufficient detail to enable the prosecution to state that an offence occurred "in or about" a date without specifying a date. If you want to provide details of what the Summons states, I will elucidate the matter further.
