1. There is normally a longer interval to settle a case against the Motor Insurer's Bureau of Ireland. Additionally, the MIBI likes to have the medical reports fully finalised from the other side with all injuries settled down before they settle a case. This does mean that cases take longer than usual to settle as a result.
