I have had to re-engage. a Family Law solicitor to re-negotiate

Customer Question

I have had to re-engage. a Family Law solicitor to re-negotiate a court order in relation to the custody of my son. My son is a man with a learning disability. He is 17. The man who was my ex-husband continues to interfere with what should be my time with my son. I was obliged last year to take up an internship, which ended in January 2013. My days of work were Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. So in effect my son stays with me from Saturday through to Wednesday morning when I drop him off at school. The man who was my husband continues to interfere with my time with my son for any medical appointments that occur on either a Monday or Tuesday. Can he continue to deny me the right to care for my son on these days? As this is my understanding of Joint custody

I guess now I will have to cancel. I cannot understand this, as I thought it was just a question of joint custody after a couple separate.
