can i read a will made in Ireland if it has left to my wife
1. You can read a will in Ireland once it is admitted to probate, as it then becomes a public document. Until then, it is only the residuary legatee who has an automatic right to see the will. To get a copy of the will - it is usually admitted to probate within three months of death - contact the Probate Office in Ireland. It is located at 1st Floor,15-24 Phoenix Street North, Smithfield, Dublin 7. Tel 01 XXX XXXX Email XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX@XXXXXX.XX. They will provide you with a copy of the will and tell you if it has been admitted to probate.
