I'm a french citizen and consider opening my online business in Ireland. Will i have to pay taxes to the french government?I was thinking to open a personal bank account in Ireland so i can getpayed by the Irish company but i don't think it will solve the problem. So my question, what is be the best strategy to adopt in order to get paidby the Irish company and to reduce taxes as a french/european citizen?
Where are you residing Ireland or France??
I'm residing in France
If you propose to set up an Irish company and have the money go through that company then yes you will pay corporation tax here in Ireland and income tax in France in relation to whatever you take out of the company
The easiest way to do this, is to set up your website from France providing your service to the Irish who presumable can pay on line into your Paypal account and pay the income tax on it in France
You will then have no liability to the Irish goverment as you are not resident here
