Good day. Me and a friend of mine are thinking about making a parody of monopoly and distributing it ourselves through the internet. I know about the "Ghettopoly" incident but our idea doesn't have the racial undertones this game was criticized for. My inquiry is the following: Is there any legal repercussions to using a title that ends in "opoly" as well as using a similar board model? We where planning on making a very different logo and a few changes now and there, but we feel it is very important for people to realize it is a parody of monopoly, or it will loose it's impact. Thank you, XXXXXX XXXX.
