Have you tried heating around the steering column?
Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Steering column and steering connecting tube turn freely, it's just inside at the lower end where the steering shaft connects to the steering box, and it is inside the steering tube, I cannot see it nor touch it

I do

You should be able to drop the steering column and be able to access to steering box

I need to separate the steering box from the shaft that connects to steering wheel, it has a bad oil leak at the upper oil bath seal.
