Just installed new batteries, 6.33 volts as delivered. Charger

Customer Question

Just installed new batteries, 6.33 volts as delivered. Charger does not show high rate to top up. Neither does charger recognize high resistance to shut itself off. Should go to about 6.51 to 6.53 to complete charge. What am I doing wrong? Or, what do I need to look at to fix it? Thanks, ***** *****

36 or 48 volts ? How long has charger ran? At least 8 hours?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
48 V, Overnite 16 hrs
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Needle on charger shows nothing, Zero, Should show 5 or 6 level inverter hums like normal. We do not have a wiring diagram.
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.
Do you have 48 volts across the battery pack? Charger is auto charger and may not be working. If battery voltage does not rise when charger is attached, it is not working.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Yes, 48 V on Batteries, Yes I know the charger is not working. What I need to know is how to diagnose and fix charger. A wiring diagram would help. Component replacement data is needed.

Charger is internal to the machine which you should know from the model info.
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 1 year ago.
Yes, but it is not part of the machine, just mounted in the frame.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Ok so now what do you recommend I do to get it working?

Not sure, data is at hangar at airport 17 Mi. away, No external data has been noticed. Can you provide distinguishing differences I might respond to from home?

Here is Snorkel manual lists!

charger has to sense the battery voltage and will not start charge unless it has at least 38 volts to close the internal relay. Charger also has fuse that can be blown.
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Can I continue on Tuesday when I return to hangar? Please provide your phone or other contact info. Ill look for fuse and more data and call you back. Thanks

There will be a link in your email to get back. We can continue. But did you see the manual link?
