We recently had a the Torque converter rebuilt on a Toyota

Customer Question

We recently had a the Torque converter rebuilt on a Toyota forklift model number 7FDU45 (serial # *****). It seems like it is stuck in first gear. The mechanic says there is only one gear. It use to go faster. Can you advise if this is the case (i.e. forklift has only one gear?) and it goes slower

It is a single speed transmission, with one speed forward, one speed reverse.

Speed can be slower if the engine is not reaching full rpm.???

Is rpm the same as before? Does the transmission seem to be slipping?
