i have a genie z 34/22 with a kubota dual fuel motor. The machine operates fine if you hold the start toggle on when you open the throttle . After what ever operation you are using has started you can release the toggle. But if you try to open the throttle without holding the toggle the engine stalls. It acts like the power to the fuel pump/ fuel solenoid is cut off
Already Tried: i have not tried anything except testing for power at the fuel pump after it stalls

Genie Industries has web site that has manuals that can be down loaded for your unit. But from what you describe is a malfunction of the foot switch, it is what is supposed to let the engine rev up. I would check the two micro switches in the foot switch in the basket. http://www.genieindustries.com/en/service-support/manuals/index.htm
it has the problem even when you operate it from the ground with the basket switched off
Have you downloaded the manual and checked the wiring to see if it is correct? I will opt out and see if you can get any one else to reply. Please don't reply to me as it will lock the question. sorry.
