I have a skid steer loader that has the branding of bobcat

Customer Question

I have a skid steer loader that has the branding of bobcat on it but I,m told by bobcat from the photos I sent them that its not a bobcat , It also has a riveted tag that has Clark Equipment on it. Previous owner estimates age of machine as 25 to 35 years, adds to this first model to have the heavy drive chains. Has a number stamped on right hand lift arm pillar 18361. engine tail door is not square , has tapered sides , colour now yellow looks like painted over white, I,m looking to get a parts manual for it and need to know what model it is ?.

Hello again.

Its not a Bobcat. Its a Gehl loader. Im not sure of the modle. I would take this picture to your local gehl dealer and they will be able to tell you the model. Hope this helps. Bobby

I have had a look at Gehl skid loaders for sale and I find no simlar features like mine in any of there modles, I dont believe that mine is a Gehl. Thanks for your help so far are you able to come up with any more segestions.

Hi Bobby. I have researched your answer that you think my skid loader might be a Gehl . When I look at the Gehl loader made twenty + years ago there steering clutches are between your knees like a bulldozer and there tilt arms are up on top of there lift arms or latter models on the inside lower down . I havent seen any with a tapered engine back plate. Please come back to me with more specifics. If you would like I can seen more photos. Bobby I,m not out to try and prove you wrong with your reply , I really want to find out what my machine is.
Regards- Bryan
