Hello, my name is Judith. Thank you for this opportunity to answer your questions.
Yes, it can be fixed.
Where is the fiancé visa petition now? With USCIS or has it been approved and sent to the National Visa Center?
It was delivered yesterday. checking the data today seems the first employment date I wrote down is not accurate regarding that specific date. How this can be fixed?
It was delivered where. What data are you checking? Do you mean looking at a photocopy you kept?
I am trying to clarify if you are looking at a copy of the G-325A Biographic Information that was submitted with the I-129F?
Was it the I-129F that was delivered to USCIS yesterday?
Yes both forms the G325A andthe I-129F were delivered yesterday but with that mistake.
OK, it takes 3-5 months for the I-129F to be adjudicated.
What you need to do is to send a new G-325A with the correction and a copy of the fee receipt that your fiancé will receive from USCIS. At the top of the new G-325A hand write "AMENDED".
Write a letter explaining that you made a mistake on the start date for your employment and highlight the line on the new form with a highlighter.
That will be put in your file and correct the mistake.
Thank you Judith great response! We will do
Judy related to the same question currently I have B1/B2 visa because my work. Seems i filed for the petition 1-129F does it makes my current b1/b2 visa revoked? Can I travel to US with my current visa or not anymore? Please advice.
This is a new and totally different issue and should be a new question thread.
As a courtesy I will give you an answer.
Your visa is not automatically revoked but the inspector at the port of entry has discretion to admit you.
Since the burden is on you to prove you are not intending to immigrate at that entry you need to show proof of your employment back in CR, that you maintain a residence there and that you have your financial ties there that will draw you back.
There is risk of an unreasonable inspector who can administratively remove you if they feel like being mean and that would create a 5 year bar.
