My sister visited us in January of 2013 and left on March 7th 2013. She would like to return for a visit can she do so?
Thank you for your question.

How soon is she seeking to return?

Did she enter under the Visa Waiver Program or a visa?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

She entered under the Visa Waver Program

She is looking to return in September or October

Thank you for your response. The general unwritten rules is that a foreign nation should allow at least six months between trips to the United States so late September or October will probably not be an issue assuming she does not have a long history of visiting the United States frequently.

Nevertheless, it is important to understand that there is no absolute right or guarantee that US Customs and Border Patrol will allow her to enter the United States.
