My attorney will not represent me in court? What should I do?
Optional Information: State/Country relating to question: California Already Tried: 5 years, I had a lawyer. from year to year, transferred the courts, but this year my lawyer can not represent me to court? He was suspended from work.
A suspended lawyer cannot practice law. To do so risks permanent disbarment from the legal profession. You have no alternative but to hire someone else. You may want to ask the lawyer for a referral to a colleague. If you cannot contact the lawyer, then for a competent Immigration lawyer referral, see this link. Hope this helps.
