For someone who qualifies for the new immigration policy change for young undocumented people who were brought to the U.S. before the age of 16. What type of records will the person need to send? What would be the most official documents DHS will accept? Whenever the mailing address to where they need to be sent are announced. How should the person send it? In a chronological binder or folder? Portfolio? In general how long does it take for DHS to issue a work permit?

Hello,my name is Judith. Thank you for this opportunity to answer your questions.First, I am answering this at risk because most of the young people who qualify and are asking these questions get angry because I cannot give them absolute answers yet.USCIS has 60 days to implement the policy. Until the government writes the guidelines there is only so much information we lawyers have been given by the USCIS about this.I am happy to share what we know through our association with you but are you going to be upset with me because I cannot give you absolute information yet?Judith
No, I am not upset. I understand that there is not a lot of info yet about the new change.
