Naturalized US citizen with US government granted student loans living abroad. Upon relinquishing US citizenship and defaulting on those student loan payments. Could there be any Immigration consequences such as denial of entry into US, or charges while coming back to the US in the future?

Hello,my name is Judith. Thank you for this opportunity to answer your questions. If one relinquishes their US Citizenship there is no assurance that they would ever be given A visa to enter the US.It is not the matter of the loans, it is a matter of discretion by the consul whether to give a entry visa and is is not uncommon for them to deny a visa when one relinquishes US citizenship.Judith
