I got a traffic ticket that required me appear on the court.

Customer Question

I got a traffic ticket that required me appear on the court. The problem is that I want to come back China before the date which I need appear on the court. Can I do that? When I am in China, Does the traffic ticket inpact me get the visa to US? If I find a lawyer, and could he help me do that, and can I go to the China?

As long as you are not yet found guilty the traffic ticket does not stop you from leaving the country and getting a new visa stamp.

Only convictions of crimes involving moral turpitude make you inadmissible and traffic offenses are generally not CIMTs unless it is a DUI that involved bodily harm.

Yes, you should get a lawyer because lawyers can negotiage deals for first offense and often the case gets dismissed.

and I have to go to the court, and reason is that my speed is 100, and the speed limit is 65 in illinois. is a problem impact me go back to america with an visa?

No it is just a speeding ticket for violation of traffic laws and not a criminal violation.
