Thank you for allowing me to assist you. If there is a delay in my reply, I am helping others but WILL reply to you asap. Thanks for your patience....do you have an employer willing to sponsor you? do you have $500,000 to invest in a new business??
I can ask my employer to sponsor me. I don't have $500,000 to invest.
The employer would have to petition for you. it will take about 7 years, if you do not have a Masters degree. You also have to stay in status while the process is going on. It will be the employer's process and not yours. You should get a local Immigration attorney to discuss everything with the employer once the employer agrees to sponsor you. You can find local immigration attorneys at www.ailalawyer.com They will need to do the labor certification process first which takes about a year, then file the immigrant petition I-140 and then the I-485 to adjust status to permanent resident/Green Card. I hope this helps clarify. Thanks and best regards.
I have a masters degree. how long will it take? my dependent visa expires in 18months. how much do I have to spend?
It can take up to 18 months and how much you have to spend depends on the attorney you hire. you will need an attorney as the process is complex. I hope this helps clarify. Thanks and good luck.
One more thing please, can I include my two kids? I am on my husband's visa. He is not interested in getting the paperwork done. He only has to write a letter. But he doesn't do it. Can I file this as single with my kids. My husband and me are not in good terms.
you can include the children on the petition but if the father does not want them to remain in the u.s. as permanent residents you may need a court order. I hope this helps clarify.Thank you for allowing me to assist you. As you know, we work on the honor system here and cannot always provide you answers that you like.
