It was more than five years ago. Convictions more than five years old cannot be used as the sole basis for denial. The conviction would have to be tied to current behavior in order to result in denial.

thank you for your respond, but that doesnot help. i did apply in 1999 and was denied for not telling them about one of my arrest. resulting to not having good moral, but i receve a letter telling me it ok for me to reapply again in 2004. i having reapply yet, just need to know if i should put in another application and take that chance.
OK, I think that it would be OK to apply again. Just get certified court and police records for any offenses and include them in the application. You may also want to include any evidence of rehabilitation, if any.
