Hyundai Repair Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hello and welcome to just answer, my name is ***** ***** aster tech here to help. I cannot see or hear your vehicle so I rely on your input to my questions so I can help you better. I read your notes and have a question before we start. Do you have a volt or muti-meter and can you make some checks. If you checked all fuses with a test light or volt meter to make sure they are ok and your brake lights work , then you have to get to the shift lock solenoid to check the power there. In the mean time you can bypas the lock solenoid by pushing the release in manually , just remove the cover shown in the chart I send you and use a small tool to push down to shift out of park.
this should help you locate yours , just remove the top cocer and press a small tool down to release it. This is only temp untill you repair the fault.
