Hello my name is***** am an ASE Master Technician and I am glad to help you with your question.

Pry it off with a pry bar carefully. Use a putty knife to cut the glue once you get it separated a little. Do not pry on the machined surfaces.

I've tried playing it but it just doesn't want to separate so I guess it's the glue

Make sure you have all the bolts out.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
That's a 2005 Santa Fe I think I got all the bolts out I checked it and rechecked it so

Maybe this will help.

Looks like 17 bolts holding the upper pan.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Is there another way of getting the crank sensor all that's broken cannot be driven through the outside into the pan or do you have to take the pan off then I can back out the other way

Can you grab it with a needle nose pliers and pull it out?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
No can I get it with needle-nose pliers I'm taking out the starter and everything to get at it but I tried drilling it and it's just not coming out can I drill all the way through that without messing up the crank
Expert:  Dan replied 1 month ago.

Try putting a drywall screw in the hole and using a vise grips to pull it out.
