I get half a crank then nothing. Battery and starter are brand new
JA: When you turn the key, do you get a single loud click, or a series of rapid ones?
Customer: didn't notice
JA: What is the model/year of your Hyundai?
Customer: 2005 Tucson GLS

You are going to need a live data scanner to be able to troubleshoot this no start issue, possible failures include the ignition switch, the crankshaft position sensor, the cam shaft position sensor, possibly the security system if the key icon is flashing on the dash board, all of which will require a scanner to diagnose the issue.
