Customer Question

I had the same problem. I have put two radios in my 2009 Sonata - same issue. Connections are good, fuses aren't blown...from a review of internet, it seems to be a common issue.

factory or aftermarket radio?
IF aftermarket, did you use a Wiring Adapter?
Do the radios have display & / or sound?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.

You need to test the GREEN wire at the Radio Plug when this issue happens, unless it comes right back ON
The GREEN wire is from Fuse "AUDIO" located in the Inside Fuse Panel
IF Voltage is dropping out on the GREEN wire, when the issue happens, there may be a problem with the Fuse Panel or Fuse connection
IF there is Voltage at the Radio, then the Radio has a problem, which is typical on these units
