2004 Hyundai Sonata - my gas tank won't fill. The dealer

Customer Question

2004 Hyundai Sonata - my gas tank won't fill. The dealer changed vapor recovery canister and valve underneath it, and I still can't put gas in it. I understand this is a common problem with Hyundai's and some people are reporting it's not fixable?

Hello, most often when it still happens after replacing the canister close valve and charcoal canister it's due to whomever did the repair not using compressed air to blow the loose charcoal from the old canister out of the vapor lines.

I would suggest having the mechanic check for that.
