my airbag light is on...dead battery..My battery..jumper cables

Customer Question

My Airbag light is on. It came on after I jumped my car from having a dead battery. My battery did not have enough charge to start the vehicle so for a couple of days I was getting it jumped with jumper cables. On day three when I got a jump to get a new battery the airbag light came on while the car was being jumped. My first though was fuse but I can not find a fuse for the airbags. Is there one or is there something else I can do to get the airbag working again?

have you checked the alternator The alternator is the one that keeps the car charged check that!

SORRY ABOUT THE LONG DELAY. SO EVEN WITH THE NEW BATTERY THE ALTENATOR CAN BE THE ISSUE? HOW DO I GO ABOUT CHECKING THAT?
