03 Hyundai elantra: defroster..air flow..stationary..shift

Resolved Question:

The front defroster on my '03 Hyundai elantra does not have air flow when the car is stationary. However, when moving, the mode will shift as expected. Would appreciate information on whether or not this is normal or if something is wrong. If something is wrong, what is it?

Hello, I am Daniel. I may ask you questions, to better answer you. Please let me know if you have any other questions before you Accept. you have a vacuum issue or the door actuator for mode is bad.

ok - is there a way to narrow it down between the two?

Daniel :

you will need to take the dash part out thats covering the heater core evap assembly and get to the doors. then you can check your vacuum

Daniel :

you can use a vacuum gauge tool its like a hand gun and can pump vacuum also
