So your thermostat is what is locked up?

Customer: replied 14 days ago.
It is not locked. It says Off
Customer: replied 14 days ago.
When I try to adjust the thermostat up and down
Expert:  Natech replied 14 days ago.

Have you replaced the batteries?

Customer: replied 14 days ago.
No...the numbers are displayed so it does not need batteries
Expert:  Natech replied 14 days ago.

How old are the batteries?

Customer: replied 14 days ago.
Not very old...additionally the low battery icon is not displayed
Expert:  Natech replied 14 days ago.

If you have performed a reset and the thermostat is still showing OFF and batteries are good then unfortunately it is time for a new thermostat. I would recommend Honeywell for replacement.

Customer: replied 14 days ago.
Really.
Customer: replied 14 days ago.
Why does it say off?
Expert:  Natech replied 14 days ago.

You did say you performed a reset correct?

Customer: replied 14 days ago.
I did. I hit the button and black letters lit up. How long should I hold it for...maybe I should try that again.
Expert:  Natech replied 14 days ago.

Try pressing Next, Next, Next, Hold

Customer: replied 14 days ago.

Expert:  Natech replied 14 days ago.
