Rick, My thermoset has a little blinking flame on the right

Customer Question

Hi Rick,
My thermoset has a little blinking flame on the right side.
We lost power twice last night because of the storm.
The heat is set at 72 but it will only heat up to 67.
It's a White Rodgers thermostat. I don't have the manual.

Hi Sheila, are you getting any heat from the furnace?

So the problem is that it's not heating the house up adequately?

Is it colder than usual where you are? Do you have a programmable thermostat and the heat was turned down over night?

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
We are in Atlanta, GA and had a ice storm. The power turned off twice last night.
Furnace sounds like it is on but not heating to 72. Staying at 67.

Ok, then the mostl likely explanation based on your description is that your furnace is undersized and is not able to keep up with the unusually cold weather.

Customer: replied 12 days ago.
will it work after the weather?

I'm assuming the furnace is running, the burners are firing. Yes it should be fine when things warm up some.
