Is the outdoor unit on?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
no - its not running - i reciclyed the switch

The auxillary heat will come on when the outdoor unit is not performing as it should or if the thermostat setpoint is 5 degrees or more above the actual temperature of the house. You cannot turn it off. It is programmed in the thermostat to come on under these conditions. Most likely there is a problem with the outdoor unit.
