E24 error on nest, fuse seems to not be blown. I can get red light on board.
JA: How old is the appliance? Have you gotten error messages before?
Customer: Was installed in 2007, nest reported it noticed the unit shutting down after 15 min of running a couple weeks ago. I didn't notice the issue
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?

Billy

is the furnace blower running?

Is the light on the circuit board in furnace solid or blinking?

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
the blower's is starting but it's cold as hell in the house, no heat. The light is flashing
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

thank you....now the blinking light...

we are looking at a series of short then long flashes.

Ex: short short short...long long =32

Can you tell me what yours is?

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
When I hold the button down to start it kicks on and the light flashes 3 times goes sold for a sec then starts flashing again
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

ok,

tape the button down.

for 90 seconds you will get that flash.

Then the flash will change....pay close attaention to the pattern.

By the way...was the filter plugged when this started?

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
No filter looks okay
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

great...check the cod flash after 90 seconds and we will go from there

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
Sold, 2 long flashes, 3 short flashes, back to sold
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

ok terrific....when it starts after the 90 seconds...does the exhaust fan in the top start and run?

And does your furnace vent outside through a chimney or plastic pipes....or I need model number.

I know what the fault is now so we can get started

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
Fan runs, vents out roof
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

thank you.

Now this will go quicker if you can post a picture of the furnace with the doors off so I can draw what to check.....or I need model number to get pictures..

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
Can you see the pics
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

Excellent! see here

Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

aslo here

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
Done
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
On the second pic, I see the spot but no button
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
Do you want me to put the tub back on
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

yes please...tube back in position

if you cannot see the button give me a close up shot of it and I can tell

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
Here you go
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

see here

Then...start furnace again.

90 seconds..check blinks...start count with short blinks first then long...then tell me new code

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
Same code
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

please verify on the back of the blower door that 32 refers to pressure switch not closing

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
No #32
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

is there a chance the code is different?

are we positive of the short blinks...then long...short blinks...then long...

Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

and to verify...the small motor by the tube we removed does kick on and run?

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
It was spinning.
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
I'm not sure how fast it should be spinning. Seems slow
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

and what about this here

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
It looks goodj
Customer: replied 17 days ago.
I have someone coming over to take a physical look at it
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

can you remove the fuse and show me a pic of the side?

Customer: replied 17 days ago.
Here it is
Expert:  BillyHvac replied 17 days ago.

you are correct..it does look good.

32 is a low pressure switch fail

Your model appears to not be equipped with a "dual" hi/low pressure switch.

If the code is indeed 32...then you likely have a circuit board condition.

The induce (exhaust motor) starts after 90 seconds...then the air flow it creates is supposed pull air through that tube and suction that switch at the end and close a micro switch.

But with then an absense of 32 of your legend indicates a internal board issue.

I guess this is one better looked at on site.

I wish you the best and feel free to stop back for follow up after you have it looked at.
