Customer Question

I'm getting a code 10 on my rinnai and there isn't any blockage in the pipe
JA: How long has this been going on? And how severe is the problem?
Customer: started last nite, will only run about 3 minutes
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: I can't get anybody to come out
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: it started this about 2 years ago and when I took the front cover off it's ran fine up until now

Hi, how are you? Sorry for the delay getting to your question. I am gonna tell you the trouble shooting procedures from the service guide to check but basically, you need to check all of the intake and exhaust and make sure there is no blockage in either, make sure the wheel and motor for the vent are in good condition and running. If it ran fine with the front cover off, that would indicate an intake issue. Let me know when you are ready and I will go through the list of checks to do. Thanks

Also, the dip switch settings for vent length are a common cause. Also, circuit board issues. Thanks.
