Only at shut down ? And does noise seem to be like a banging?

No. Sounds mechanical

I am a Rheem/Ruud dealer and am not familiar with a noise you should be hearing on shutdown

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
That's not a good thing. Is there an expert serviceman in the Harrisburg pa area that I can have come out to the house ?
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
The noise is very loud
Expert:  airheatman replied 5 months ago.

I would definitely notify installing contractor and makehim check this out.Do you by chance have a video you could upload .I might be able to recognize the noise as a revering valve swish or txv slamming shut.

The unit reversing valve energizes in heat mode so when it shuts down the reversing valve will switch but nothing loud enough to draw your attention.

I have a video. How do I attach
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
I tried to send it. Says it to large
Expert:  airheatman replied 5 months ago.

IF you have it on Youtube send me a link. Or there should be an attach file icon on your page

I see your response. I'm looking for area code 17070
Expert:  airheatman replied 5 months ago.

I do not see a Rheem dealer near you by zip code.

You could try Ingrams and they should be able to help with onsite inspection and correcting issue.

THat unit is louder than it should be even while running? Was this installed by a licensed contractor?

Sounds like possibly overcharged

Expert:  airheatman replied 5 months ago.

Expert:  airheatman replied 5 months ago.

Tell me what pressures are reading in cool mode and what outside temp is

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
It's been checked for Sub cooling dead on,
Air rise is good. It's maintaining air temp in house
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
Assuming charge is good. What could the noise be ?
Expert:  airheatman replied 5 months ago.

TXV metering device in outdoor unit

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
No. Electronic
Expert:  airheatman replied 5 months ago.

What do you mean no electronic?

Customer: replied 5 months ago.
It's not txv but electronic valve
Expert:  airheatman replied 5 months ago.

OK I see. THen the electronic valve. Regardless of what type metering device you have , it controls the amount of refrigerant entering the coil
