My E1eh furnace heating elements are staying on
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat's settings? And what about the filters?
Customer: themostat is set correctly and filter is clean
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: If I can
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I can hear the safety switches clicking in and out If I turn the thermostat up it works fine but when the setting is reached the fan shuts off but the elements do not

This is most likely a bad sequencer. If you have a voltmeter check power to sequencer coil.If not getting 24v (which you most likely are not) and elements are staying on replace the sequencer.
