Customer Question

We have a gas furnace/airconditioning unit. We are using a Honeywell T8665A wireless thermostat- Chronotherm IV I understand this thermostat is obsolete and need to replace it. Would like to know if there is a compatable thermostat for it.
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat's settings? And what about the filters?
Customer: The thermostat is old and having difficulty changing settings from heat to cool to off. The filters are fine.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: It is a wireless thermostat and it is held on with two screws so I would assume my husband could put it in if we had a compatible unit.
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I called tech support and he wanted to know how many wires were on the back and their are five, but it is a wireless unit.

That is the manual for it. It is not listed as obsolete anywhere. Who told you it was obsolete?

Have you replaced the batteries lately?

We can go from there
