Welcome to Just Answer, my name is ***** ***** I will do my best to help you with your

issue. First I’ll need some more info so I have a more complete picture of you situation.

If this is a relatively new unit with inshot burners then the crossover is likely dirty. The crossovers are the "wings" on either side of the center of the burner. It doesn't take much to stop the flame transfer so you'll probably have to remove the burners and clean them paying close attention to the wings.
