JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: I powered nest. For more than 1h, animation came up and message was asking to attach nest to the base. It was displaying "heat set to 63". I set heat to 70. In several minutes nest displayed that there is no power attached to RC adapter an error 23

The E23 indicates the NEST is not receiving power . Make sure there is 24 volts between R and C from furnace transformer and that the R wire is secure at the thermostat

Expert:  airheatman replied 7 months ago.

If that is all good, tell me what wires you have currently on the Nest

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I have Y1,G,Rc,W1
Expert:  airheatman replied 7 months ago.

Lets try moving the wire at RC over to RH.et me know if that corrects problem

Expert:  Gaztech replied 7 months ago.

I can do the call...

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Done. I have error 24
Expert:  Gaztech replied 7 months ago.

sorry, call doesnt work, go ahead Airheadman

Expert:  airheatman replied 7 months ago.

Ignore the call request and we will continue here. OK so after moving the red to RH you get a different error?

Expert:  airheatman replied 7 months ago.

OK both of those erors are indicating we do not have power from furnace. Did you verify with a meter that you definitely have 24v between RC and C as I asked earlier?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I have no meter
Expert:  airheatman replied 7 months ago.

OK based on the Nest Pro troubleshooting guide, the thermostat is not sensing power from furnace. Look in furnace and see if maybe the little 3 amp fuse on board is blown.

I attached 2 images. Is any one is a device we are looking for?
Expert:  airheatman replied 7 months ago.

No that is the zone panel. The fuse and board we are looking for will be inside the furnace mounted on blower housing.

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
I think I need professiional to fix this problem. Who should I call?
Expert:  airheatman replied 7 months ago.

If you are going to call someone, you can look in local phone directory for heating and an air conditioning contractor. Also you can go to the website below to locate a dealer who will be familiar with the Nest.
