Yeah, I had to replace TCONT800 Trane thermastat... not working.... most of the wires were marked and the same on right side... the black and white wires were different....if I don't fix soon I will have wife problems

Is this a Heat pump?

What terminals were used on old thermostat?

And was power off to the air handler when you did this?

take the red and green wire at thermostat and touch together tell me if blower kicks on...we nay have to change a small fuse inside the air handler..

It is a heat pump..... black and white wires are on left same thermostat but updated wires on right side were the same, black and white on left, connection was different

There was a fuse box on the outside, the fuses were blown, one was dust and there might be damage to the fuse box.... I think that I am in over my head and need to call service
