Can you give me complete model from inside furnace in burner compartment so I can provide guidance with this specific unit.Model will be on a label just above burners on right or left inside panel
That is gas valve number model will be on a label as show in picture. It will begin with 3 numbers like 517 or similar
THanks, ***** ***** grab a manual. Now while I do so, Turn power off to furnace.Thermostat off. Then power back on and call for heat.Note exactly what happens and first error code we get.
The normal sequence of operation:
Inducer vent motor comes on
Pressure switch closes
Main circulating blower comes on
If furnaces fails anywhere in the sequence we should get an error code by blinking lights on the control board. Turn power off and back on, then call for heat.tell me how far in that sequence it goes and what error code is on first failure We will go from here.
Next look on door panel and tell me if this matches the error code status chart .
OK as you will note, we should get a code represented by short and long flashes. EX one short two longs. What are we getting?
OK as you can see on chart, that implies the fuse on control board is blown or circuit is open.Remove the little fuse and see if it is black inside.
Remove door panel. Fuse will be located on the furnace control board,See below
