I don't understand what you mean by the eye glass. Do you mean the sight glass? do you have a steam system? what is the actual underlying problem that you're dealing with?
There is no sight glass on a hot water boiler. What broke?
Ok, you still haven't told be what's wrong.
What glass broke. The glass on the temp & pressure gauge? Is there a glass to see into the burner chamber?
Ok, Vailant abandoned the US market over a decade ago and pretty much left us high and dry. Vailant specific parts are no longer generally available. Your only option would be to remove the glass and fill the space with a piece of heavy gauge sheet metal or take it to a glass company and have them replace the glass. I'd go with the sheet metal. No other boiler has a viewing port into the ch***** *****ke this.
