Do you have a volt meter to see if we are getting power to the motor?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
My tech checked he said there is power he's gone now
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 month ago.

Did he test the capacitor? If we have power issue is going to be either a bad capacitor or bad motor.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
He never checked capacitor, he just put a meter on the wires leading to the motor
Expert:  airheatman replied 1 month ago.

What was his diagnosis? Was motor running when he left?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
No he said it's the motor I was just hoping for something else, he didn't seam to know trane well

If verified we have power to motor, It has to be either a bad capacitor or bad motor. You could try capacitor first as it I less than 10 bucks. But if that does not solve problem you will have to replace motor.

If you are handy with tools you can replace for less than half what he will charge.
