Customer Question

We have a electric/air condition system Model # HX8J30A. I was cleaning it and notice this time that there seems to be some rust on the very end of the coils. I also notice that the big air tube is not connected to anything at the end of the furnace. Should this be connected and if so, where?
JA: Did you double-check the thermostat's settings? And what about the filters?
Customer: Yes. I did replace the filters with regular filters instead of the aluminum ones.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: Yes
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
